Ibis was a solid choice for my last-minute stay in Paderborn. The value for the price paid was satisfactory. The room, while clean and adequate, lacked the no-smoking option requested, a minor inconvenience for a one-night stay. The housekeeping was attentive, ensuring a comfortable environment. However, the soundproofing could be improved as external noises occasionally disrupted the peace. The free Wi-Fi was a practical addition, catering to both business and leisure needs.The hotel lacked luxurious amenities like a welcome drink or complimentary toiletries, yet the bar and lounge area provided a relaxed atmosphere. The inclusion of board games offered a pleasant diversion. The 24-hour reception was convenient, allowing for flexible check-in/out options.In conclusion, Ibis offers decent facilities, prioritizing functionality over extravagance. For a short stay requiring basic amenities and a fair price, it serves its purpose effectively.
